At this time, the GCUA Room Block at the Westin is full. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list for a room, please e-mail us with your credit union or company name, names of attendees and dates requested. Friday, May 18th | 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Enjoy an amazing day trip to Bloody Point Resort on Daufuskie Island! After a 30-minute water cruise from the Westin Resort, you will arrive at Bloody Point Resort and can choose to do as many of the activities as you would like.

  • Enjoy miles of pristine beach with unobstructed views to Harbor Town, Tybee Island and Hilton Head. Spend the day on the beach picking up shells.
  • Soak in the sun while swimming in the ocean or the resort swimming pool (chairs and umbrellas will be provided, but bring your own sunscreen and beach towel).
  • Bathrooms, lockers and a changing room is on-site.
  • Lunch will be served at the resort pool.
  • Explore the island and enjoy the scenic views in your own private golf cart (included with your registration fee).


8:30 a.m. - Group meets in the Westin lobby area
9:00 a.m. - Water cruise departs Westin Marina (dock facing river) headed to Daufuskie Island
12:00 p.m. - Lunch served at the resort's pool area
3:00 p.m. - Water cruise departs Daufuskie Island dock for return to the Westin

Moses C. Davis Awards Dinner | $115

Friday, May 18th | 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

For companions not registered for the Companion Program, there is a charge to attend the Friday night cocktail reception and awards dinner. We will honor the service of credit union volunteers and professionals with our annual awards ceremony. Get ready for a great meal, live band and don’t forget to put on your dancing shoes!


Companion Program + Companion Tour | $440

Go ALL IN as a companion by signing up for both the Companion Program AND the Companion Tour, the secluded beach day trip to Bloody Point Resort on Daufuskie Island! When you sign up for this package, you receive a discount. You’ll gain access to the conference’s most fun social events and dining experiences, as well as a full day of playtime on a secluded island. Details for each event listed above.

Georgia CUPAC/CULAC are the state and federal political action committees (PACs) for credit unions. Contributions to Georgia CUPAC/CULAC are not tax deductible for federal income purposes and are distributed in a 60/40 split between the two PACs. Contributions are strictly voluntary and you have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. Contributions from individuals outside of the solicitable class will be returned. Federal election law requires us to report the name, address, occupation and/or name of employer for individuals who contribute $200 or more in a calendar year.

Substitutions: Accepted at any time.

Convention Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be submitted in writing and/or email. Refunds will be issued in full through April 13th; afterwards a 30% administration fee applies. Absolutely no refunds issued after May 1st.

Georgia CUPAC Golf Tournament Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds after April 30th.

Hotel Policy: All hotel reservations will be made on a first come/first served basis. The Westin's room cancellation policy is 72 hours in advance without penalty. Any reservations cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice will incur the appropriate nights penalty. The courtesy of advance notice of cancellations will be appreciated by other credit union representatives who are on a wait list for rooms. In addition, guests checking out prior to their check-out date will be assessed one night's room charge plus applicable taxes and fees.
